Venue and Seating Information

Public Works is a renowned nightclub and community event space located at 161 Erie Street in San Francisco's Mission District. With a capacity of 1,200, it primarily features a general admission standing/dancing layout, which enhances the intimate atmosphere of live performances. The venue includes a bar, an art gallery, and a second-floor mezzanine area, providing various spaces for patrons to enjoy.

The best spots for viewing during concerts are typically located on the center floor near the stage, where attendees can fully immerse themselves in the performance. The mezzanine offers elevated sightlines for those who prefer a broader view of the event. However, due to the open floor plan, some areas may not provide optimal visibility, particularly towards the back of the venue.

Parking Information

Parking options near Public Works are somewhat limited due to the venue's location in the bustling Mission District. There is no dedicated on-site parking; however, street parking is available on Erie Street and surrounding blocks but is heavily regulated with meters and time limits.

• 14th St Public Paid Lot: Located between Valencia St & Mission St; rates vary.
• Elif Parking: 344 14th St, San Francisco, CA 94103; pricing varies.

For convenience, rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are highly recommended given the limited street parking availability. Additionally, public transit options like MUNI bus routes and BART (16th St Mission Station) are easily accessible for attendees.
